WORSHIP THOUGHTS
16/09/2006 - Study on Worship VI
Sharpened to serve
Prov. 27v17: As iron sharpens iron, a friend sharpens a friend.
Teamwork is all-important.
We call ourselves the Worship Team.
We are known as the Worship Team.
We function as the Worship Team.
I am sure that we all have friends; and one of the purposes of friendship is to sharpen each another. Ecc 4v10 reads: If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But people who are alone when they fall are in real trouble, and in v12 it reads: A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but can stand back to back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple braided cord is not easily broken.
I want you to examine your own life and list where friends have been invaluable, and then list situations where if you had had a friend to help things would have turned out better.

Be a person that is not afraid of being sharpened for service.
