What God has to say about Worship

Gen 4v21 His brother’s name was Jubal; he was the father of all who play the harp and the flute.

The Law of First Mention states that whenever something appears for the first time, God plays special significance upon it. Here in this verse we have the first mention of music in the Bible. It is related to four things:

a) Jubal

b) Father

c) Harp

d) Flute

Keys for us here are found in the meaning of Jubal’s name: stream, river, to flow, to bring forth, to carry, to lead forth. Our musical Father created instruments to flow like rivers.

List five things that can help our own flow in our worship.
