LATEST NEWS...
David & Ruth have just recently returned from the United States. They were there for two weeks firstly for a Leader’s Conference at Bill Johnson’s Church in Redding, CA and secondly to visit with their son Sam and his wife Anna who live in St Louis.
The trip to Bethel Church in Redding, our first, was amazing. To be in the environment of honour and God’s presence was so powerful. To be able sit in a worship meeting with no responsibility except to press into God ourselves, and then listen to outstanding teaching was such a privilege. We also connected again with a number of the guys from Bethel Church who had been in Leicester and found such a kindred heart together. We are looking forward to Paul Manwaring and Karen Sprenger being with us in January at the Global Legacy Conference in Leicester. What an honour to be able to host such a Conference at home here in Leicester.
From Redding we drove back down to San Francisco and then flew back to St Louis where we were going to visit with our son, Sam and his wife Anna. We were staying at the home of very good friends, Mike and Lauren Smith and using their home as a base to visit. Both Sam and Anna are doing really well and enjoying married life together. Their jobs are going well and they are integrating well into Church life at the Destiny Church plant out in O’Fallon, MO. (our old stomping ground!) It was such a joy to see them together and be able to visit with them in their home. We also got a chance to visit Destiny Church on the Sunday morning. Lou Engle was speaking and it was a powerful time in the presence of God.
We also got to see many of our friends who we knew when we lived in O’Fallon.

Tuesday, November 17th we visited the Haven Church in Birmingham to hear John Arnott from Toronto ministering about the importance of having an encounter with Father’s love and allowing him to heal up our hearts. It was so refreshing to hear John speak of his own journey into more of God. About 15 people from Leicester Christian Fellowship made the journey over there and we were blessed to rekindle another connection that God is giving us.
