KEY SCRIPTURE
David, together with the commanders of the army, set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun for the ministry of prophesying, accompanied by harps, lyres and cymbals. All these men were under the supervision of their fathers for the music of the temple of the LORD. Along with their relatives, all of them trained and skilled in music for the LORD, they numbered 288. Young and old alike, teacher as well as student, cast lots for their duties. ( 1 Chronicles 25:1-13)
David set them apart.
Just as these musicians served under King David, we serve under the King of Kings, Jesus. All Christians are worshippers, but He has gifted some in a special way in the area of music to serve the body in worship. Under the Supervision-Worship School Students will be part of Covenant College and will be joining Covenant College students for many of their foundational classes. Students will be submitted to their local eldership and serve in the worship team with a servant heart.
